The nettle beer I made last month is the fizziest brew EVER! It is now mostly all over my kitchen floor and all over my cardigan. Tastes pretty good though! :)
Hmmm can't say as I can raise any enthusiasm for nettles but not a fan of leaf vegetables. Must collect some Ramsoms from Grace Dieu woods and purchase a bunny for the recipe on the Guardian website
What did you do with it? I am brewing mine in a covered 10l bucket as it was the biggest thing I had. I was gonna put it in empty wine bottles but I'm worried it might explode!
I just decanted some, tastes nice and fizzy but really sweet. The hygrometer says it is starter beer!!! Any suggestions? Or do I just drink as much as I can to see if I fall over? ;)

ReplyDeleteI re-used some plastic fizzy drinks bottles, which I would recommend. If you use wine bottles I think there is a very real possibility of drama! :)

ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I'm really not an expert on brewing... mine was sweet too... I think it's meant to be so!
ReplyDeleteAh well it seems to be getting stronger now!!!
