Blackberries!


The blackberries seem bigger and jucier than ever this year - despite all the dry weather we've had!



My current favourite way to eat them is with homemade yoghurt...

    Do you listen to the Food Programme on radio 4 ?
    There was an item on Berries recently (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00t3368) which had me considering planting gooseberries as they are designated Minor Berries which is a tad derogatory. Mind you I have yet to plant a Buddleia so may procrastinate on that too.
    My current approach to blackberry brambles is chopping off the ones creeping over from the neighbors garden as I once let them take over mine
