On Friday I went to the plot intending to work but as usual I got distracted by photography. I was struck by how quickly things are flowering, making fruit and going to seed. 'Late summer' is definitely here...

Hmmm I'm sure the Alpine strawberries produced fruit early and likewise the Blackberries too.
ReplyDeleteMy poppies have flowered and wilted and I should collect the pods for my mother who wants some for her garden (I didn't plant them, they must have spread, next doors Nasturtiums are taking over and trying to move into mine too).

Have been distracted by cameras and upgraded my fuji finepix s8000fd to an HS20 which I should't really but it's not good enough for photographing Little Egrets at distance.
