Preserving the harvest

A productive lunchbreak has yielded one large tub of wild cherries. I'm thinking Cherry vodka....

    Might I reccomend that at the same time as making cherry vodka, if you also get a vanilla pod and make vanilla vodka, and the mixture of the two with a little soda or perhaps lemonade is simply divine.
